3D printing two of my favorite 3D prints, “Cute Octopus Says Hello” and his 3D printed alter ego, “Not Cute Octopus Says Something” On the left 3D printed time lapse we have the “Cute Octopus Says Hello” by Makerbot on Thingiverse(Links at the end of the description) and on the right we have a remix that is so over the top not a cute 3D print that it is almost endearing, “Not Cute Octopus Says Something” by Catsand. Which 3D printed model is the cutest is in the eye of the beholder. Share your favorite in the comments.

How Time Lapse 3D Prints Work
After each .1 MM layer( That is barely thicker than a sheet of paper!) the 3D printer pauses, moves the extruder to the rear of the printer, takes a photo and then continues the print giving the illusion of the print appearing from thin air.
