3D Printing Simultaneous Jigglypuff Igglybuff Wigglytuff Evolution Pokémon Time Lapse

3D printing a complete Pokemon evolution seemed so easy at first. There are so many great Jigglypuff 3D Models on Thingiverse. Finding Igglybuff in a 3D printable form was pretty easy as well. However when it came to 3D printable WigglyTuff there is a definite lack of 3D printing Pokemon models. I finally struck gold on a super obscure 3D printing site, 3DPrintmag.

I have included links to all there 3D printed Pokemon models at the end of the description. All 3 Jigglypuff evolution 3D models can be printed well without supports. Any stringing in my 3d print time lapse is strictly due to the camera moving to take a photo at the end of each layer.

I must say that my original plans for this 3D printed Pokemon Jigglypuff time lapse failed pretty miserably. I aimed to pause the 3D printer and add googly eyes to each 3D print as it reached its full 3d printed size. A warning to others, no matter how cute you think Jigglypuff will look 3D printed with googly eyes, don’t do it! All three models looked terrible with the eyes added. If you have the artistic skill, go ahead and paint your 3D printed Jillypuff, Igglybuff and Wigglytuff models. Otherwise just leave them in their already cute 3D printed form.

How Time Lapse 3D Prints Work
After each .1 MM layer( That is barely thicker than a sheet of paper!) the 3D printer pauses, moves the extruder to the rear of the printer, takes a photo and then continues the print giving the illusion of the print appearing from thin air.
