I was coming up with things to 3D print time lapse with wood filament(other than amazing 3D Printed Groots) and I wondered… is there a 3D printable ice cream cone on Thingiverse?(Links at end) By combining Ucat’s 3D Printed Ice Cream Cone Lamp Top with DuaneIndeed’s splatted cone and voila…. 3D Printed time lapsed Soft Serve in a wood PLA cone! My resized dimensions to fit ice cream to cone are in the video.

How do 3D Print Time Lapses Work?
After each .2 MM layer( That is barely thicker than a sheet of paper!) the 3D printer pauses, moves the extruder to the rear of the printer, takes a photo and then continues the print giving the illusion of the print appearing from thin air.
