3D Printed Support Free Pikachu – 3D Printing Pokemon Series #1 | Ender 3 Pro w/ Jarees Yellow PLA

Many 3D Printed Pokemon models, Pikachu included require a great deal of support to print. I am looking forward to 3D printing a series of support free Pokemon which are great for time lapses as well as a lot more easy to clean up post-print. This awesome support free Pikachu by Patrick Art On Thingiverse is now one of my favorites.(See Link At Bottom)

Jarees was kind enough to provide a roll of yellow PLA for me to test print with and I am very happy with the results. I found a good temperature for this filament to be around 195 degrees. This 3D print was made with a higher temperature and if you look closely you can see some stringing from printing too hot. Adhesion was great with this filament and I am happy to continue working with Jarees products.

How Are My 3D Prints Made?
All of my 3D Time Lapses are printed on a Creality Ender 3 Printer with a Raspberry Pi B handling the time lapse coordination. 3D printing requires a large amount of patience with many models running taking 12+ hour to complete and several printing for well over a day. Each layer is between .1 and .2 mm thick. Think the thickness of a sheet of printer paper!
